Arts Award Off The Shelf: Simon Cox
Arts Award Voice's deputy editor Tom interviews Simon Cox to discover what being a Casting Associate for film and TV involves, and some of the challenges he faces when casting for such projects as The Hobbit and Robot Overlords. This video will be useful if you are completing the Arts Award Part C Inspiration section of your Bronze portfolio.
Tom also talks to Eronita from Into Film about their Talent Development scheme and how this can support young people who are completing an Arts Award.

Digital Content Creator Apprenticeship for IDEA13 in Thurrock
Metal is a charity arts organisation based in Southend, Peterborough and Liverpool, currently setting up a new base in Thurrock. Idea13.org is a website developed and run by Metal as a one stop shop for cultural information and events.
We are looking for an apprentice to help us run the IDEA13 blog in Thurrock.

BBC Music’s Ten Pieces Secondary Film Screening in Salford
The BBC filmed ten pieces of classical music for Arts Award's tenth birthday! Well no, they didn't. But Ten Pieces? Tenth birthday? It's meant to be. They made the BBC Music Ten Pieces film in order to inspire young people of secondary school age to embrace classical music and filmmaking.
