Sexism in TV & Film
After the recent issues in reference to Harvey Weinstein and the current MeToo movement/campaign which followed, I was interested in finding out more about the issue of sexism in tv & film through interviewing those within the industry to gage their opinions, as well as through reading articles which are currently in most newspapers and magazines.

I attended the Warner Bros Studio Tour in Hollywood whilst I was staying in LA and it truly is an incredible experience. From seeing the real life sets of tv shows to exhibitions and seeing the prop workshop, there is something for everyone.

Beyond ‘Curious Incident’, New Narratives of Autism by David Hartley
There’s a saying in the autism community: “If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.” There’s a serious humour at the heart of it, a wilful contradiction of logic spoken with an eyebrow raised that asks for change. It speaks to the frustration felt by autistic individuals who have seen the story of their identity told through harmful medical hypothesising, misguided neurotypical guesswork and deeply entrenched stereotyping – and usually by people who are not autistic.
