Today, conservationists and fans around the world celebrate Steve Irwin Day in honour of the Australian wildlife presenter. To me, and many other children of the 2000s, the man known as the Crocodile Hunter is nothing short of a climate hero.

‘Connect with nature’ by Dr Vyankatesh Metan
On the 9th of August 2018, I went to the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in Bengaluru, India with my family. There was an exhibition called ‘connect with nature’ displaying stunning photos by wildlife photographer, Dr Vyankatesh Metan. The exhibition’s photos showed amazing scenes of nature and wildlife.
