Sporadic jokes, comic musical numbers without any context, and anecdotes just because. These are the qualities that make them world-renowned Fringe legends.
There are some killer gags and, obviously, killer songs to keep the audience going from start to finish. Experts in how they address when their jokes stumble, they make you wonder whether it's all just incredibly well rehearsed or their interactions on stage are completely improvised.
The trio throws away the rulebook and doesn't stick to jumping from topic to topic but just seemingly move into a nasally sung song or string of jokes whenever they feel like it. Without any constraints, they are free to – and certainly do – use any type of humour to make the audience laugh. Dark, childish, slapstick, you name it.
They have the power to use their comical lyrical chops to write something with a deeper meaning. They are also clever enough to know that they needn't even bother with the hassle and can just write about nonsense.
Check out their music and go have a sing-along!
