Blushed

A fun and interesting twist on fairytales, performed by Sole Rebel Tap, two very talented tap dancers.

Blushed

Personally, I felt this show started off somewhat slowly. I kept waiting for the tap dancing to start and it seemed to take forever. I absolutely love tap dancing and once it started I would happily have watched the two of them all day. The modern and slightly adult twist on the fairytales covered in the show was refreshing and funny, and the tap dancing really was amazing.

It felt at times like they weren't completely prepared for the show, they would make the occasional comment to each other about what they were meant to be doing or saying and certain changes seemed to take a while. I appreciate that what they did with just two of them really is a big job, but there were a couple of moments where nothing was really happening at all.

The lighting and sound were good. I enjoyed the songs that they danced to and it was really nice to relive some of my favourite fairytales and I think the show is very clever and the concept is strong.

Overall it was a good show, I personally would have liked to have seen more tap dancing as that is definitely where their skill lies, but it was a refreshingly different show nonetheless.
