Review of My Visit to the British Ironworks Centre

The British iron works centre is a really interesting place to visit, located in Oswestry in Shropshire. We visited here on the 4th November 2023. I choose to visit here because many of the sculptures are made from recycled materials eg : car parts and scrap metals, it made them all very interesting to look at . I especial liked the Hulk sculpture as it was well thought out and the pieces were intricately arranged to make it look like the Incredible Hulk.

They have animal structures which are made out of recycled materials which I think is an amazing way to stop things being thrown in to land fill.

When I went we hired a golf buggy to make the journey easier as it is a large area to cover and it was raining so it was so much better than getting soaked! It was also a lot of fun. There is a cost to hire the buggy but entry in to the park itself is free.

I really enjoyed this me and my mum were there together and it was a great bonding place for me and her because we both thought driving around in a buggy cart at a whopping 5 miles an hour!

They have a really good cafe here which has some amazing food and cakes and they also had quite a large gift shop which sold lots of different items including metal sculptures if you want one for your home. For smaller children, they had a type of treasure hunt and had a series of sculptures based on the Minions.

All in all, I thought it was a good day out and I found it very interesting.29bf2458468a4e8e61d18959579810b1431d2610.jpegImage Caption
