I started learning to crochet last October and, after teaching myself the basics, I decided to challenge myself by crocheting my own cardigan as part of my arts challenge award. This is the first piece of clothing i’ve made and uses a brand new style of crochet to me, the Tunisian knit stitch. Whilst learning to crochet using a completely new stitch and deciphering pattern terminology was difficult for me, I thoroughly enjoyed making this cardigan and found it to be a very rewarding and relaxing process (despite very frustrating issues I ran into along the way)
