Try your hand at things like TV production, demolition simulation, virtual welding, floristry and 3D modelling and much more!

Expert Careers Advice and Sign Up Stations

Get impartial one-to-one guidance on career routes and jobs from expert careers advisors. Browse the Sign Up Station stand for real opportunities that you can apply for, such as work experience, apprenticeships, and jobs.

Meet employers

Over 130 top local and national employers will be at the Show, including Royal Mail, IBM, BAE Systems, NHS Careers, HS2, Airbus, Barclays and Toyota, offering top jobs, apprenticeships and training opportunities.

Spotlight talks

From household names to current apprentices: hear from "real people doing real jobs", be inspired, and find out how they got to where they are now.
Last year featured stars from Robot Wars and Strictly Come Dancing, BBC Radio DJs, JCB, Jaguar Land Rover, NHS, Army, O2, The Sun, and many more!

Showcase demonstrations

Showcases bring skills competitions to life for visitors, with experts and students demonstrating skills in an interactive and engaging format.

WorldSkills UK Competitions

Watch the National Finals of the WorldSkills UK Competitions, where the best of the best compete at the highest level in their chosen skill.
From stonemasonry to floristry, media make up to landscape gardening, the competitions give you the chance to witness exceptional talents!

The Staff Room

The Staff Room is a dedicated space at The Skills Show for teachers, careers professionals and parents/guardians. Seminars, advice and resources will be available to help share new ideas and approaches to careers support.

Skills Champions

The Skills Champions will be hosting an interactive stand at The Skills Show, where they will be showcasing their skills and talking to visitors about their exciting journey so far.
Skills Champions have competed in the past as part of Team UK, Squad UK or at the National Finals of the WorldSkills UK Competitions.
