How Schools View Careers in the Arts

This is a topic that is very close to my heart and the opinions I have formed come mainly from my own experiences in attempting to gain acceptance and help from my school in regards to the career path I have chosen to follow.

How Schools View Careers in the Arts

Here is my opinion piece for Part D of my Gold Arts Award.

I am pleased to say that since recording the voice-over for this video, my school has become much more accepting of my choices and are now more willing to help me with this where possible, even though I have already interviewed for five of my six chosen drama schools/universities. So to anyone in a similar position to myself: keep trying to gain that support, even if it comes a bit too late, you feel so much better when you know that it's there!
