Why Is Anime/Manga Not Recognised In Art Schools? by Andrea Nield

I think that mange and anime are art and though you showed a comment that said they could not tell the different I think there is a easy to spot and keep difference between different artists work. An example of this is Hayao Miyazaki with his film spirited away has a clear different style to all other animations I have seen. But I would question if this is considered art which I do agree it as can comic books be considered art as well?

The Importance of the Arts by Beth Webster

I agree the arts should be in education it has personally helped me grow as a person. I do think that for some people it can be a waste of time though and I think schools should let a student study theses subjects from a earlier age to see if they do actually want to take part in them or not. Do you agree or do you think that the current systems in place at most schools are fine?

The Mental Health of a Young Male Dancer by Luke Lamkin
Comment posted on 8 November 2018
I agree that the mental health of male dancers is a massive problem that doesn't really get addressed the fact male dancers are just told its easier because there men can be really harmful especially if they don't get into a dance piece and then are told its just easier for them. For the body image problem I do agree as I face this myself but I think for theses dancers you see in shows and on magazines they only look this way because of year of training and a proper diet. This was an enjoyable read and a very relatable topic for me.

I completely agree with your arguments. I think that if someone trains then they will eventually reach there physical peak and everybody's physical peak is a different shape and size. When someone has reached this I think that it just comes down to how good they are at the movement and this can be achieved by lots of practice. All in all a good and interesting read.

Racial Stereotypes Within Film by Daniel Stokes

I like how you have looked at how each different racial group is stereotyped in films. I would have liked to see how foreign film productions such as Bollywood portrays western characters. But all in all a interesting read.

I feel that propaganda is a very complex topic and it can't really be stopped as everyone has there own opinion especially artists. its just a fact of life that people will try and make you agree with them this was a good article as it highlighted this although I feel this was a hard topic to really explain fully.
