For a long time we have been fed the narrative that arts subjects don't belong in schools. So I decided to dig a little bit deeper. Why do people feel this way about these subjects? And is there any substantial evidence to support their views?

A special event will be held in the North East region next month to celebrate the difference made by including young voices in cultural leadership.

Big Ideas: Children and Young People’s Voices in Leadership is a collaboration between Culture Bridge North East, Juice Festival, and Team Juice, Juice Festival’s leadership team of volunteers, all of whom are aged 16 to 25.
