Bugsy Malone by Ruba

On Friday we went to see Bugsy Malone at the Lyric Theatre. It was a performance for schools and there was a special performance before the show and lunch. After the show we met the actor who played Bugsy and he gave me a high five, he was so cool!

The show was wonderful and made me feel very happy. The actors were really good, especially the kids playing Bugsy Malone and Blousy. I really liked the dancing and singing. I liked the girls singing more.

The set was brilliant, the lights and dresses were really great. My favourite song was 'We could've been anything that we wanted to be' and the end scene that they sang it in was amazing. I think every one should go see it.

This is a video of the original film Bugsy Malone. It was made a long time ago, I think the show we saw is better.
