Call for entries is now LIVE for UKYA City Takeover: Nottingham 2019! A major showcase opportunity that will present the work of 200 artists from across the globe in a city-wide ‘takeover’ of Nottingham.

UK Young Artists is seeking submissions from artists aged 18-30 working across all art forms.

UKYA City Takeover: Nottingham 2019 will span the city, immersing visitors in an array of extraordinary, innovative and contemporary work from over 200 artists from three continents. Visual arts, performance, music and words will animate cultural spaces and unusual places across Nottingham. 

CALL FOR ENTRIES

DEADLINE: Monday 9 July 5pm

UK Young Artists is seeking submissions for a week-long ‘City Takeover’ in Nottingham. The call is open to artists aged 18-30 working in the following artforms:

Applied Art: ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, fashion

Design: graphic and product design

Digital Art: animation, projection mapping, mixed reality performance, virtual reality, game design, interactive art and installation

Literature: writing, poetry, storytelling and spoken word

Moving Image: film, documentary, artist video and animation

Music: sound art and all genres of music will be considered from individuals, bands and collaborations

Performance: theatre, dance, live art, site-specific and outdoor performance

Visual Arts: fine art, photography, installation, illustration,printmaking, site-specific work and sculpture

Cross art form collaborations and interdisciplinary works are also welcomed!

UK Young Artists’ open call for submissions closes at 5pm on Monday 9 July
