About the role:
Working within a fast-paced environment, as part of the moderation team, you’ll be assisting the operational delivery of Arts Award moderations. You will provide high-quality operational/administrative support to our customers and panel of Arts Award moderators, including answering enquiries, processing booking requests, invoicing and processing payments, creating moderator itineraries and ensuring the smooth running of Arts Award moderations. The role is diverse and dynamic and covers a variety of tasks: from technical admin and finance processes to liaising with a wide range of colleagues and customers, including Arts Award advisers, teachers, freelance artists and young people.
The successful candidate will be a proven administrator with brilliant communication and organisational skills, who believes in delivering an outstanding service to every customer. This role is an opportunity to take on a more rewarding challenge and play a key role in helping young people develop as artists and art leaders. That’s why we stress the need for strong communication skills at the top. You should also be a real team worker with a positive attitude and the ability to organise your own workload and multi-task. An interest in the arts would be a big plus, and you must be committed to providing first class customer service- both on the phone and via email. Strong IT skills such as experience in using Microsoft suite (especially Excel and Outlook) will be required for you to fulfil your duties.
