Perhaps you already write and want to take your writing further, or perhaps you have something to say but can’t find the right way to express it. Or perhaps you are somewhere in between. Either way and every way, this course is for you!

This three-week course will focus on poetry and the spoken word and is led by poet Isy Mead (winner of the 2021 Julian Lennon Poetry Prize and Head of Learning at The Story Museum).

Suitable for ages 11-16

And don't forget to put Tuesday 25 June, 17:00-20:00 in your diaries as we'll be inviting back all course participants for a special celebratory show case at the Museum in front of invited guests.

At The Story Museum we believe that finances should not impact a young person’s ability to access the arts. Therefore, we offer bursaries for the course price and related travel expenses for low-income families. To apply for a bursary place, please email our learning team.
