I attended an online art class with Love Art and Craft Education, the teacher talked about different things to use to create art. Things mentioned were acrylic paint, watercolour paint, oil pastels, pencil crayons, wax crayons and pencils. I liked the idea of using watercolours because it's easier to adjust the colouring than when using acrylic or poster paints. Deeper tones make the painting look warmer and watery tones can make a painting look cold, it is a very manageable style of painting. I enjoyed using the watercolours to create a picture of Mickey mouse more than I enjoyed using the pens. It was a less stressful process because I felt I had more control over the paint brush than I did over the sharpie marker.

As part of my bronze arts award I did a tutorial to draw Mickey mouse. I have used skills developed in another online workshop to create the same image in water colours.
