#BreakTheBias this International Women’s Day

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is #BreakTheBias. Since a day isn’t enough, join us for the month in celebrating how women everywhere do this every day.

#BreakTheBias this International Women’s Day

Just like last year, Voice will be celebrating International Women’s Day for the entire month of March. This year’s theme is #BreakTheBias, and we are so excited to share what we have created with you.

As much as things have progressed, total equality still seems like a far cry away from being a reality for many women out there. While we continue to fight, women all over the world are shattering glass ceilings and breaking the bias in their everyday lives, and it’s this triumph that we will be celebrating all month long.

In a collaborative piece from all the women at Voice, we express how we #BreakTheBias in our day-to-day, in a bid to inspire women and those who identify as women. Our #BreakTheBias piece shines a light on some of the biases we as women face in society today, but more importantly, how we overcome them. Our #BreakTheBias collab will be published on International Women's Day, March 8.

But it doesn’t end there.

We will be publishing articles that celebrate the achievements of women, highlight the double standards we face, praise our icons, and respond to the changes –  if any – that have occurred since the last campaign.

For the entire month of March, we bring you some truly unique, interesting and thought-provoking pieces that celebrate and challenge modern-day feminism. Voice has a force of incredibly talented women who cover a spectrum of views and opinions that will inform, educate and entertain you this International Women's Day.

International Women’s Day will continue to be an important calendar event until true equality for women of all races, creeds, backgrounds and identities is achieved.

At Voice, we are always proud to showcase the voices of the youth, and we extend that to our audience as well. So, Tweet us, gram us, talk to us on Facebook. Share your views, engage with us and let your voice be heard.

From our house to yours, Happy International Women’s Month, and let’s break one bias at a time, together!
