If you enjoy a lighthearted encounter with Milton Keynes, Cinderella, and dauphinoise potatoes, this show is for you. Calling back to songs from the movies and a capella classics, Rosie delivered on the Adele-meets-Bond front and didn't disappoint on range or repertoire. With casual quips and chat with the audience; it was a relaxed show, it felt laidback but engaged, compelling but not challenging. I’d love to be in the room for this one, a one woman show with a cracking commitment to vocal excellence and a particularly talented accompanying pianist.
It’s true, it is very hard to find old school garage on sheet music, but Rosie made a valiant effort to rectify that. 90's staple Robin S made a stunning (metaphorical) debut with a charming rendition of “Show Me Love”. Make no mistake — Rosie certainly has some decent lungs on her. Expect big things.
