Review of the play Hi-De-Hi

Hi-De-Hi Review

I really enjoyed, the performance of Hi-De-Hi at the Rhodes Centre, it was especially well done by an amateur acting group. It was a lot of fun, although I did not understand all of the jokes because I had not seen the original Hi-De-Hi series. My favourite character in the show was Peggy Ollerenshaw, this is because she was portrayed so wonderfully by the actress. The actress was a perfect re-enactment of the actual character in the show, according to my parents.

It's always a pity when a show requires the audience to have knowledge of other materials in order for it to be fully enjoyed! Do you think you'll go and watch the original series now?

I'd want to but unfortunately, I'm not sure where to find the series, so :(
