The Lion King (Musical)

The Lion King is a musical based on Disney's 1994 animated film. First opened in Britain at the Lyceum Theatre on 19 October 1999, the musical features African animals, represented by actors and actresses of all ages, in animal costumes and giant hollow puppets with elaborate and excessive makeup. Performed at the Lyceum Theatre, the musical is directed by Julie Taymor and music and lyrics by Elton John and Tim Rice, and has been running for 16 years.

I would recommend The Lion King to people of all ages, as it is an indescribable experience to anyone, and one in which needs to be experienced. It is a very emotional and expressive musical, yet thoroughly thrilling. It captivates the audience and makes each and every individual feel part of the experience. The exciting and intense atmosphere is created by the realistic characters and set, and, of course, by the phenomenal acting and drama. The Lion King is perfect for everyone of any age because of the outstanding characters, who enhance the curiosity of each person and thoroughly amazing. The musical demonstrates the true beauty of nature. The Lion King is a must see musical, which is incredible, and one that is accessible to all.
