Well, this happens! The Kinsey Sicks performance at the Gilded Balloon was filled with sex, innuendos, parodies, satire and, of course, drag!
In more detail, you had 4 drags queens who sang in beautiful a Capella to rip apart and mock anything from politics and sexuality to themselves! If I must be honest, the vocals were absolutely fantastic, and the humour was perfection. I love it when the American sense of humour translates so well over in the UK.
The only bad thing about this show is that I really wish that there was a little bit more! It had almost nailed the over-the-top female caricatures, I somehow felt maybe they needed more in-your-face action (not in that way) and maybe some more glamour to add to their repertoire?
Regardless, it boasted brilliant vocals, amazing dress senses, hilarious humour - get to them before it's too late!
