The Whitaker

The Whitaker is an amazing place.

The Whitaker

The Whitaker is a museum in Rawtenstall in Lancashire.

I like it because there was different artforms & different art cultures.

There was an artwork that looked like a bird with a dress and I felt mixed feelings about it. The story or the culture or tradition gives me Spanish vibes behind what the artist is seeing.

I met some people who worked at the museum who told me about free training classes.

I saw a taxidermy tiger & python it looked very scary & frightening.

I'm intrigued to know more Iqra! Especially about the mixed feelings you had towards the bird and dress piece, can you describe the piece and how it made you feel? Sounds like there was a great variety of artforms and cultures, has it inspired you to visit more museums/galleries?
