This role has been created specifically to work with SOLT, UK Theatre Association and Stage One on their existing programmes including; Bridge the Gap and TheatreCraft. TheatreCraft is the largest, free careers event for young people seeking an off-stage career in theatre. It is run by a steering group of SOLT, Masterclass, Mousetrap Foundation and Royal Opera House. Bridge the Gap was launched this year by Stage One as a year-long training initiative for producers who may not have had access to the development programmes otherwise. There are also likely to be other events and opportunities throughout the year that this role will be involved in, including a new BAME focused production bursary.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the organisations in their commitment to increasing the diversity of the workforce in theatre.
- Actively engage new participants into the programmes.
- Actively seek and develop relationships with schools, colleges and universities to understand what is needed in relation to current careers advice.
Salary: £28,000
