The Pearl Exchange supports the mental well-being of 18 - 35 year olds from Cornwall and Devon through an eclectic programme of free workshops, talks and events alongside free counseling. They are recruiting for an Engagement Representative to distribute their print media and conduct face to face outreach to break down barriers to engagement and build footfall amongst our target audience.
This role is all about getting the word out about The Pearl Exchange! The role would suit someone confident and sociable, keen to make connections and meet new people. This role requires access to a car and some driving.
The successful candidate will need to attend a weekly team meeting on Tuesday mornings in person at our base in Bude. The rest of the hours can be worked flexibly, as such this role requires you to be self-motivated and honest in your reporting.
AIM:
To distribute print media
To build face to face connections with our demographic
To broaden our reach
To act as an advocate for TPE
ACTIONS:
Distribute monthly print media to all locations on the monthly checklist (list provided for you)
Keep checklist up to date at all times, report on progress at weekly meetings
Research relevant events and activities which will be attended by our demographic
Build a list of hot spots (in Google docs) of places to meet target audience
Attend events / activities to recruit participants
HOURS
8 - 10 hours per week (depending on need) (flexible schedule available)

£13 p/h
