AnthroTalks is a new-writing event curated by Anthroplay Theatre. Each scratch night revolves around a different theme, bringing you a mix of innovative performances from emerging and established artists.

AnthroTalks is a new-writing event curated by Anthroplay Theatre, held at The Hackney Den on the last Thursday of (most) months. 

Each scratch night revolves around a different theme, bringing you a mix of fresh and innovative performances from emerging and established artists. 


We are looking for monologues, spoken word, poetry and songs from new and existing writers/performers, that revolve around the theme "FEMME" as part of our next AnthroTalks, to celebrate upcoming International Women's Day. Please fill out our online form to enter your submission.

Before you submit, take a look at our guidelines below. 

GUIDELINES


  • Pieces no longer than 5 minutes 

  • Make sure they correlate to the theme in some way

  • Be prepared to be available afternoon & evening hours on Thursday 30th March 2023

  • Be prepared to travel to Hackney Den Dalston (97 Stoke Newington Rd, Greater, London N16 8BX)

  • Artists will be paid a set fee of £10 for their performance 

  • Please collate all submissions into one word or pdf document if you have more than one entry


Performance date: Thursday 30th March - 8pm
Submissions close on: Thursday 9th March - 11am
