Community Engagement Apprentice

Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) is looking for a Community Engagement Apprentice to help MAC develop and run creative programmes for and with local people, particularly those who are underrepresented in the arts.

Community Engagement Apprentice

Working alongside the Community Engagement Producer, you will help MAC to develop its relationships with and understanding of local communities, and to deliver a range of programmes including a new community research project, Bedlam creative wellbeing programme and Culture Club, MAC’s arts club for over-65s. This role will support MAC’s outreach and engagement programme, so knowledge of and a connection to the diverse communities around MAC is especially desirable.

This position will lead to the qualification Cultural Learning and Participation Officer Level 3.
