Are you looking to gain valuable experience in arts administration and learning and participation project management within a music or higher education environment?
The Royal Academy of Music has a vacancy for an Open Academy intern in their acclaimed Learning and Participation programme, with effect from September 2022.
Open Academy works with partners including music hubs, community settings and other arts organisations to deliver creative projects that connect Academy students with the world around them.
You will assist with the co-ordination of setup for classes and projects, support delivery of activities, answer enquiries from staff, students and the general public and provide general administrative support.
This position is ideal for someone looking for their first role.You will have a good academic track-record, good general IT skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a friendly nature, and an enthusiasm to contribute to our busy team. You will also ideally have musical knowledge and a particular interest in community and participation activities. This is a professional development role, and you will have the chance to attend the Academy’s free public concerts and events.
