Voice Views: Your favourite live performance

Welcome to another edition of Voice Views, the new monthly community post where we ask our readers to join us in a discussion around a particular topic.

Voice Views: Your favourite live performance

August plays host to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which just so happens to be the largest arts festival in the world with over 3,500 shows from 55 countries. It is a phenomenal opportunity to see live performance in a multitude of genres, whether it be dance, theatre, stand-up, music, poetry or anything else.

Given this spectacular event is currently running (and we happen to be covering it) we want to hear from you this month about what your favourite live performance of all time is.

This can be absolutely anything artistic that you have seen or been to in person, because we are even including art exhibitions!

Maybe you have an all-time favourite band you managed to secure tickets for? Or perhaps you went to a poetry slam that changed your life? It could be the dance recital that brought you to tears, or even that Roy Lichtenstein exhibition that changed your perspective of the world.

Our Voice Contributors will be posting their own pieces up throughout the month, and if you want to join in, all you have to do is tag your post with ‘voice views’ for it to be collated! And it doesn’t just have to be written, you can also upload multimedia to YouTube, Vimeo, or Soundcloud and embed it into your post!

Whatever your favourite live performance was, we want to hear about it!
