Dali Exhibition

The following is a review of a small temporary exhibition of some of Dali's less well known pictures. I have compared these to his more famous pictures.

In Mallorca I went to a temporary art exhibition on an artist called Dali. Dali painted many strange works of art by mixing things in reality with things of his imagination. Most of his art I found weird and did not really like it, but he used very good art techniques. Most of his art pieces used an impressive display of different techniques. I like the second one because it was not too strange like the others and it was made of iron which made it look cool. The name of this masterpiece was Moses. The first seven images I have put on this site are the ones I saw when I went to the exhibition in Mallorca.

What I expected when I went to the exhibition is that he would be a realistic artist like most of the artists that I have seen before, I was totally shocked when I first saw his unrealistic crazy art. His art was all over the place with strange pictures of animals and gory things and humans all mixed together with objects too.

The pictures at the top are not his famous ones instead, they are the developing ones a bit like a sketch book that eventually lead up to his more famous works of art. From the seventh image onwards are his more famous works of art that are more popular now. I also prefer them because some of them look better than his sketch book paintings.

My favourite is the melting clocks because I like how he has made the clocks look like they will turn to puddles, and how he has painted them and made the clock hands look long and thin. In conclusion I think that his art showed how crazy he could be and how the world inspired him and how he saw things, also known as surrealism.

I love Dali's work. A lot of people know about him but, like it seems you did, have no clue how psychedelic and completely berserk his work actually is. I think in its odd and quirkiness, it is very much timeless!
