The English-Speaking Union (ESU) is a charity working to give young people the speaking and listening skills and the cross-cultural understanding they need to thrive. We run debate, public speaking and performance competitions; deliver oracy and performance workshops; run summer schools; offer scholarship opportunities & more. We also run events nationwide for members and the general public.
