Acting- East 15 and the Theatre Workshop Tradition (Imaginary Worlds, Physical Action and Laban)

We are pleased to announce that East 15's Summer Schools return to our Loughton campus this August. East 15 Acting School was one of the first conservatoires to offer Summer Schools aimed at those considering going to drama school, those wanting to know more about a particular area of acting, or those wanting to brush up on their skills.

Participants aged 17 or over can book for the East 15 summer courses on-line, and take advantage of our early bird offers which are available until 31 May 2017.

East 15 graduates are known for their ability to quickly respond to any acting situation and to take risks in their acting choices. This course offers an introduction into a selection of the training methods, using some of Joan Littlewood and Theatre Workshop's techniques. It blends Stanislavski (reality before theatricality, given circumstances and backstories), Actions (from the external action to the internal thought and psychological world), and Laban (Space, Body, Dynamics and Relationships) in a 21st Century industry context.

Fee £490 (£50 discount if paid by 31 May)
