Intern for Social Shapla

Free Space Project are a social prescribing charity based in Kentish Town Health Centre. They provide creative projects, services and exhibitions for the community.

Intern for Social Shapla

They are a friendly team looking for an intern to support us as we develop a creative project exclusively for Bangladeshi women in the Kentish Town area. These are a series of ‘art and chat’ sessions to run until Autumn 2023 when the project will be reviewed.

Due to the nature of this project, they need to give preference to women applicants. They are specifically hoping to recruit someone of Bangladeshi origin. It would be helpful (but not essential) if they were bilingual.

This role is 7 hours a week, working either remotely or on-site during the workshops with the project manager. There will be some promotional work in the local area to generate interest in the project, the applicant must be comfortable with undertaking this.

This post would suit a student or a recent graduate interested in gaining experience working with arts and community. This is a paid freelance position at £13.25.p.h. Applicants must be already registered or willing to register as self employed.

To apply, please email - [email protected]
