This is a great opportunity for an outgoing, organised person, with a love of live entertainment, to help spread the word about their work. As part of the Marketing team, you will promote the theatre and associated activities to their current and potential audiences.
This will include, but is not limited to
- Growing word of mouth impact for the theatre, in line with their marketing strategy
- Developing relationships with local, regional, national and industry media contacts
- Designing, creating and planning social media, digital and print assets
- Building a network of local outlets for print distribution
You will be easily able and willing to engage with audiences and external partners to grow our word-of-mouth impact both in person, and by using the media or social media. You will be a confident communicator and curious learner.
Ideally, you will have an aptitude for design, be well-organised and work well to deadlines. Media relations experience would be a great bonus, but it is vital that you can write engaging copy.
You should be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
The team currently works three days per week in the office and two days from home.
