Location: St Ives  

Take an active role in facilitating pre-devised learning activities for all audiences at Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth museum. Including curator’s talks, performances, artist’s residency projects, family and Under 5s workshops and events, schools workshops, young people’s programme workshops and events and professional development programmes for emerging artists as well as community events. Learning activities that you will support happen onsite, on the beach, online and in the local area.

The role includes delivering sessions with the public and supporting behind the scenes preparation. You will work regularly with audiences and the Tate St Ives team, including visiting members of the public and community audiences across all age groups – both onsite and online. Working closely with artists, partners and local audiences to deliver projects that create access to art and artists and explore the displays and exhibitions. You will be part of a team sharing feedback on recent programmes and planning for new activities.

Tate St Ives has a busy programme throughout the year on weekdays, evenings and weekends. They are flexible to other commitments and will discuss with your availability on an ongoing basis. Training will be provided to support you in delivering the role and regular feedback with the Learning team can support finding the right fit for your interests and identifying future ambitions.
