Q&A: Aliens Don't Ring Door Bells on BRITS 2023

About this event

Starts: Wednesday 1 February 2023 9:00 AM

Ends: Wednesday 1 February 2023 5:00 PM

Not long until we find out the winners of this year's BRIT Awards on Sunday, February 12th, there will be no more speculations and predictions of who are the biggest names in British music and who are the new one-to-watch names.

The biggest stars will gather at London's O2 Arena for the 43rd edition of the ceremony, with British stand-up comedian Mo Gilligan as the evening's host. The Bahamas-UK-Spain-based pop-rock band Aliens Don't Ring Door Bells unveils their predictions and favorite BRIT moments.

Who are you most excited to see perform? (Lizzo, David Guetta, Cat Burns, Harry Styles)

Harry Styles – this guy just keeps making hits, quite a talent and we’d love to see him live at the BRITS.

Do you have a favourite BRITS moment from all the 42 ceremonies?

Hands down, the Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood, as we’re huge Fleetwood Mac fans, and that moment has to be the most iconic, cringe worthy moment; no wonder people still talk about it.

Who do you think you would get star struck by?

Being aliens and living amongst the stars and planets, that’s a hard question to answer but, if they are there, Arctic Monkeys, would be huge. These guys are true, Brit Pop artists that embody the meaning of Brit pop, like Oasis, Blur etc.

After going through the list of nominations, could you share your predictions for this year?

We’d like to, but when they are all correct, there maybe questions asked, but ok. We’d be very surprised if 1975 don’t win Album Of The Year, and has to be Arctic Monkeys for Group Of The Year..  Oh and the gorgeous Becky Hill, for Dance Act Of The Year.

Is there anyone or any song missing? Who would you add?

Aliens Don't Ring Doorbells, international other-worldly group of the year could be added 😉.
