With five album releases and over 150 live shows around the world no one can say that Ziggy Alberts is one to rest on his laurels. With the release of his new single ‘heartbeat’ taken from his forthcoming album ‘searching for freedom’, Alberts has managed to take his emotional lyrics such as “Spent time searching for all that comes, not in comfort but loving you” and accompany them with a vibrant guitar backing and slick production.
The material is not dissimilar to that of singer-songwriter Pete Murray, as you think of sand between your toes as the sunset appears to create this feeling of comfort and familiarity.
