My Heroines: Emma Watson

Welcome to the first blog in my new series about women who have inspired me!

As we all know, women run the world.

The latest person to prove this has been none other than the fabulous Emma Watson, who has bounced back from a media storm in which she was criticised for using the term “self-partnering” (seriously, whose business is that? Other than hers?) to take on her own ingenious promotion for her new film, Little Women.

Emma Watson has been missing in action recently. Other than the premiere of this new film, she hasn’t been present at any of the other promotional events. But she has still been busy, promoting the film in her own way.

The Harry Potter actress has instead hidden 2,000 copies of the Little Women novel all around the world, in 38 countries, with the help of the Book Fairies. Each copy will contain a note from Watson herself - how cute is that?

This isn’t the first time she’s done it either - pictured is her with a copy of Women Who Run With the Wolves, which is one of my favourite books! What an inspiration!

Emma is playing the role of Meg in Little Women, which comes out on Christmas Day. Are you going to go and see it?
