Scarily Good Things To Do In The Run Up To Halloween

As spooky season rolls around for another year, the thought of Halloween has really got me in the Autumnal spirit. Here is my list of scarily good things to do in the run-up to Halloween 2019.

Scarily Good Things To Do In The Run Up To Halloween

1.Visit a pumpkin patch

This is an obvious one! Trek down to your local pumpkin patch and pick out the biggest, the brightest orange pumpkin you can. There are loads of local patches in London so click the link below to start planning your very own pumpkin-filled adventure. Make sure to snap some pics for Instagram, you will be the envy of all your followers with your wholesome Halloween content.

2. Binge-watch horror films

Get in the popcorn and be prepared to pull the blanket over your eyes because it's time to get out the dvd’s or get down to your closest cinema to be spooked out by all the horror films this Halloween. From The Conjuring to The Blair Witch Project be prepared to be frightened out of your own skin whilst watching these classic scary staples. Take a look at the top 30 horror movies to watch one after the other right now!

3. Make your own Pumpkin Spice Latte

It’s actually really easy to make you own versions of these autumn essentials! You’ll save a few pounds as well. Try recipes like this one and get extra points for the plant-based version instead of the sugary Starbucks one as well!

4. Go ice skating

London has some beautiful places to go ice skating as the weather begins to get chilly. Try Alexandra Palace or the Natural History Museum - and don’t forget to wrap up! Find your nearest ice skating place in London and get skating.

5. Design your own Halloween costume

Instead of spending a small fortune on expensive fancy dress costumes get to grips with DIY and do it yourself! Head on down to an arts and crafts store and purchased an array of supplies and get glueing, cutting and drawing some seriously spooky costumes. Get some Halloween inspo from this very helpful link below and have a happy Halloween!
