The Electric Sons: From Cluttered Garage Studio to Major Showcase Artists

The duo just returned with a new track titled "Black Lotus".

Atlanta, GA-based indie-alt writing duo, The Electric Sons, started out in their cluttered garage studio with a passion for music and a dream to make it big. Since then, they have skyrocketed to become showcase artists for Red Bull, American Songwriter, BMI, and have had their music featured in major ad campaigns for Chevy, Wendy's, Red Bull, and more.

Their music has been included on Spotify's New Music Friday and Discover Weekly playlists, and they have performed on huge stages at festivals such as Hangout Fest, Voodoo Fest, and Summer Fest. The Electric Sons have also been on many tours across North America with bands such as St. Lucia, Capital Cities, and many more.

After hunkering down through 2020, The Electric Sons emerged in 2021 with their first full-length album, Arrival. Since its release, the album has received over 1.5 million streams and has made its way into Netflix, ABC, and MTV original shows. Now, The Electric Sons are laser-focused on live music, touring, and are slated to release new music, merch, videos, and have tours across the southeast primed for 2023.

Their new track, "Black Lotus" started out of a conversation about a Magic The Gathering card that turned into a discussion about being blinded by your pain and loneliness. The song was written and produced entirely by The Electric Songs and was mixed by Ben Allen at Maze Studios who has worked with Cut Copy, Bombay Bicycle Club, Washed Out, and tons more.

The Electric Sons' rise to fame is a testament to their hard work and dedication to their craft. From their humble beginnings in a garage studio to their current status as showcase artists and festival performers, The Electric Sons have proven that anything is possible with passion, talent, and perseverance. Keep an eye out for their upcoming tour dates and new releases, as they continue to make waves in the music industry.
