‘Everything here is big big big and impossible to climb’

‘Over the next 3000 seconds, you will experience human emotions, such as joy, laughter and boredom’. So begins Brennan Reece’s Evermore, and he’s right – except for the boredom part.

Angela Barnes is excellent at what she does, and while discussing the occasional darker side of things, Rose-Tinted proves to be a topical and heart-warming hour of comedy.

Christian Finnegan describes himself as ‘woke but extremely groggy’. This description mutually applies to his stand-up.

There are undoubtedly many more shows featuring Arts Award achievers in Edinburgh, but these are two I knew. Both have their Gold, and I wanted to give them a try. I’m glad I did!

This is a slick show, with a character who seems to like a touch of danger in his life. A Jew from New York who is a must see in Edinburgh.
