Bugsy Malone by Lewis

On Friday the 24th April we went to see Bugsy Malone at The Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith. It was a special matinee performance for schools to celebrate the opening of their new practice rooms and film studio.

Overall I thought Bugsy Malone was a great performance. The music, stage, dancing and costumes were brilliant and of excellent quality.

It was great to see kids doing a show of this kind on a big stage. It was really inspiring.

I really liked the part in the gym where they were dancing and singing, it was amazingly choreographed. The bit with the car was great too. The lighting was really effective.

Most of the songs in Fat Sam's restaurant were amazing. The music was really great, I liked to be able to see the band in the pit.

If I had to pick a favourite character I would say Bugsy because he was really funny.

In general, I really liked the show since it was fun and really entertaining for all ages. It was a really good experience!
