Youth Voice Training: Having a Voice in your organisation March 2022

March 15 2022 | Zoom 17.00-19.00

Upstart Projects’ experiential online Youth Voice Training courses offer organisations the tools to better engage and involve young people in decision making processes and designing projects – making progressive moves to innovate and grow your insight.

Our training builds on our experience running Voice Magazine and directly engaging hundreds of young people as young journalists, trustees, ambassadors, cultural professionals and event organisers over the past 10 years.

This twilight workshop online explores the roles of young people having a voice in decision making at organisations. Perfect for those starting out on a Youth Advisory Board or similar type of forum. A mixture of discussion, activities and professional input ensures an engaging time focussed on each participant’s needs.

The session will equip young people to make a meaningful difference to your decision making processes and allow you to attract and work with your audience.

Upstart Projects is the charity behind voicemag.uk, the Arts Award Alumni network and numerous other youth voice programmes. We trained over 100 organisations in 2021 with support from the Centre for Youth Impact and Social Investment Business.

We also have a free Introduction to Youth Voice interactive online presentation and a free introduction to being a young facilitator interactive online presentation on our website.
