The annual yarn festival

Unravel Yarn Festival

The Exhibition

What was the title of the exhibition/show?

Unravel annual yarn festival.

Why did you choose to attend this exhibition/show?

I couldn’t find any exhibitions on knitting but I found this festival and thought I would enjoy it. Seeing other people’s art is good.

Who were the artists and what do they create?

Kate Talbot, soft sculpture and illustrator, she helped make the exhibition interesting and she knits famous people as dolls and knits foods. She was a nice lady and let me take pictures and I got to talk her.

What did you see?

I saw lots and lots of different stalls selling what they had made. My favourite was Sincerely Louise, she sold knitted animal heads.

What were your first impressions?

The presentation was good and it was colourful, everyone was so friendly to me.

Did you find anything particularly interesting to your personally?

The knitted animal scarfs by Sincerely Louise, it looks easy and fun to do.

What did you learn which will help you to achieve your challenge?

I learnt so many things to make and I think the animal scarfs will help me learn how to make a scarf.

Did you enjoy the experience overall? Why?

I enjoyed it because it taught me I can sell my knitted products for money if I wanted to.

Who did you share this review with and what did they say about your review?

I can't imagine that woolen food tastes particularly nice! Perhaps something that needs a lot of sauce!
I'll have to research a little bit more into woolen art - I must confess I don't know much about it!
