'Marvellous' Black Panther Review

This is my review of the movie Black Panther for my Marvellous Bronze Arts Award. I hope you enjoy it and feel encouraged to go and watch or rewatch it!

Marvel has some amazing superheroes and characters with great morals and ‘marvellous’ perspectives that inspire us to do better. With so many fantastic movies, this by far has to be the best one! For years, we have been watching movies with superheroes and lead characters who are predominately White with one or two characters from different backgrounds. But Black Panther is completely different and revolutionary as it mostly has a Black cast.

Our society is becoming more and more intolerable, particularly towards people of colour and especially towards Black people. So this movie was refreshing to watch and I feel helps break barriers and is inclusive. I am mixed race White and Asian and appreciate the inclusion and refreshing change.

It also has a lot of strong female characters who have lead roles rather than just sidekicks. The film is action packed and full of awesome fighting and the CGI is ace! I give it 11.5/10, so If you haven’t watched it, what are you waiting for?!

I have also been inspired to draw some of my favourite characters, hope you guys like them. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Excellent review of a film that has its place in black empowerment by providing a mental utopia (wakanda)
