Shrewsbury Comic Con Review

An immersive trip to Comic Con

Shrewsbury Comic Con Review

When I went to Comic Con with my Dad at the venue Shrewsbury Town Football Stadium, on 6 April, it was amazing!  There were people who were dressed up in costumes; such as a character from Hazbin Hotel and Star Wars, and their costumes were very realistic and looked really cool! There were lots of stalls with comics to purchase, a few of my favourites I saw were Marvel and DC, and there was even a massive Stay Puff marshmallow man from the first Ghostbusters film which was impressive.

The one thing I enjoyed the most at Comic Con was sitting in the Delorian car from the Back to the Future movie – it was an amazing feeling.  My experience of sitting inside the Delorian car made me feel like I was in the film and I even got to see the Flux capacitor and held the Hoverboard - which made it feel so real!   Whilst looking around the event I saw other cars, including a buggy from Jurassic Park, plus Pixar’s cars which were shiny, had eyes on the car and they were smiling.   I was delighted to see all the vehicles from the movies – it made my day! There were also people playing boardgames, including Star Wars and D&D games taking place, and there was even a costume contest which included Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Stormtroopers, Jason from Friday 13th, Blitz from Helluva boss and some dressed as anime.  All the costumes looked great and everyone worked hard on creating their costume.

I really liked the Comic Con event and would love to go again!
