Pentabus is looking for 8-10 Young Writers to join writer Sophie Ellerby across six sessions to explore the principles of playwriting and work towards creating a 5 minute audio drama.

Pentabus Young Writers: National Programme

Are you aged 16-25? Interested in telling or writing stories? Would you like to learn to write a short audio play?

Pentabus is looking for 8-10 Young Writers to join writer Sophie Ellerby across six sessions to explore the principles of playwriting and work towards creating a 5 minute audio drama.

You will be guided from pitch to play, including a redraft process all with support and feedback. The final 5 minute plays will be professionally produced and released via our website and social media channels. The six sessions will take place monthly from November to March, on a Monday 7pm-9pm. 

Who:               Aged 16-25. 

This programme is aimed at young people who may not even know they’re writers yet. No previous writing experience is necessary.

Pentabus is the Nation’s Rural Theatre
Company and, as such, we are particularlyinterested in hearing from rural writers.
