Events Assistant

Support the production of a project celebrating the life of local pioneering astronomer Mary Blagg in Cheadle in Spring 2024. 

The role will involve stewarding a programme of arts and science events to compliment the exhibition of Luke Jerram's award winning art installation Museum of the Moon. You can find out more about the project https://outsidearts.org/events/cheadle-moon-15-mar-to-5-apr-2024/ - here.

They're looking for someone who is responsible, practical, keen to learn and flexible. Your duties will involve the day to day stewarding of the exhibition, managing volunteers, artist liaison and admin including data capture. Great opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience in events.

Fee: £12 per hour

Position: Freelance/Temporary approx 20 days

Timescale: March/April 2024 (must be available between 14th March and 5th April)

Location: Cheadle, Staffordshire
