This November they're offering ten young people aged 18-25 living in Brent the chance to get hands-on experience in scenic arts, carpentry, or props and set dressing. You'll be part of a team transforming a 300-square-foot warehouse in Wembley into a theatre space for the Brent community. Currently, the warehouse is empty but they have big plans. This will be your chance to be part of something new, from the ground up.
For this paid opportunity we're looking for people not currently in education, employment or training. You will work directly with Punchdrunk Enrichment carpenters and designers, giving you a practical insight into our immersive theatre practice and gaining valuable skills.
This could be the chance to try something new, or even a new career path. No experience necessary, just an interest and enthusiasm in theatre and/or developing your creative skills.
The programme will take place between Wednesday 25th October and Friday 6th December, culminating in a celebration day to showcase your work.
We strongly encourage applications from Asian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, Latinx, Mixed-Race, Native American, or SWANA backgrounds, and those who have grown up in a household where English is not spoken as a first language.
We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities. If you require any reasonable adjustments to participate in the recruitment process or to take part, please let us know, and we will work with you to provide the necessary support.
