2Faced Dance is offering the exciting opportunity of a full-time salaried position with the Company for a male identifying dance artist.
Reports to: Rehearsal Director & Artistic Director
Type of contract: Fixed Term (12 months)
Hours of work: 40 hours per week. This role will require evening and weekend work as well as national and international travel
Annual Leave: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays annually
Starting salary: £22,660
Location: 2Faced Dance, Centre for Movement, The Old Court, Gaol Street, Hereford. HR1 2HU
Ideal start date: January 2023
They are looking for a male identifying dance artist with excellent contemporary technique and contact improvisational/partnering skills. A strong physicality and team-oriented values are essential, theatrical abilities are a bonus. They welcome applications from recent graduates as well as experienced dancers. Performance experience, familiarity with and openness to differing choreographic approaches and proficient teaching skills are all essential.
They seek open minded people willing to push themselves in new directions, be a team player, work hard, laugh a lot and are open to learning new skills.

Auditions will take place over 2 days at: the Centre for Movement, Hereford, on Saturday 5th November (Audition 11:00-18:30) and Sunday 6th November (Audition + interviews 10:00 – 17:00)
Shortlisted candidates will be required for both days. There will be no cuts made until midday on day 2.
