Meet the conservators who restore paintings, furniture and armour to find out about the science behind their work. Discover what museum conservation involves and see where taking a science degree can lead. Visit the Conservation workshops, which are not usually open to the public, and hear about professionals career routes and what their jobs involve.There will be hands-on experiments which link both to the A level and to the conservatin work being done in museums.
